Member of the Lily Family (Rosaceae). Remember that Starry False Solomon’s Seal has flowers at the end of the stem in a raceme while Feathery False Solomon’s Seal (Maianthemum racemosum) has flowers at the end of the stem in a panicle.
Fendler’s Sandwort (Eremogone fendleri (Arenaria fendleri))
Member of the Pink Family (Ranunculaceae). The Eremogone genus was part of the Arenaria genus, but Eremogone has linear leaves that are mostly basil.
Member of the Rose Family (Rosaceae).
Member of the Carrot Family (Apiaceae). Very common in the Sandia Mountains (New Mexico).
Member of the Bellflower Family (Campanulaceae).
Member of the Lily Family (Liliaceae). Fortunately, there are only two species of Allium found in the Sandia Mountains and this one is distinctive.
Member of the Saxifrage Family (Saxifragaceae).
Member of the Moschatel Family (Adoxaceae). This Red Elderberry is the microbotrys variation with mostly 7 leaflets.
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
Member of the Carrot Family (Asteraceae). In New Mexico, they call this Western Yarrow.
Member of the Mustard Family (Brassicaceae). This appears to be the patens variation.
Member of the Pea Family (Fabaceae). This appears to be the neomexicana variation.

The leaves on this tree are not lobed like on the White Mulberry trees in New Hampshire.
Evergreen, compound leaves with the apical portion of the terminal leaf is extended in many cases. Racemes with few flowers/fruit (1-11). The fruit is not inflated as for Berberis fremontii.
Similar to the Eastern Rhus aromatica.
