Lambquarters has a distinctive look. Young leaves have a gray or silver coating
which is especially obvious on the underside of the leaves. The leaves are
alternate on the stem. The leaves have leaf stalks (petioles). The leaves are somewhere
between rhombic-egg-shaped and lanceolate. They are irregularly-toothed.
